Report – Foot Steps for Good 30th January’ 24

DAVPS, PUSHPANJALI, Cambridge Wing hosted the much awaited Annual Foot Steps for Good on 30th January, 2024 on the sprawling grounds of the school. The morning though foggy was filled with great zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere. The Foot Steps for Good was held for grades PS - VIII.
The event began with the juniors of grades PS and PP participating in a great amalgamation of track and field events and some interesting yet fun races. They tested their strength in various events such as the 100 meters flat race, Obstacle race, Ball race and the very interesting Pouting Frogs race.
Next, was the turn of the students from grades I - VIII. The energetic and nimble-footed participants performed and won the various events with flying colours. It was a wonderful display of agility, coordination, strength and stamina by the students in various events such as the 100 and 200 meters track events, Relay, Sack race, Lemon and Spoon race and the Hurdles race for girls and boys.
The zealous students, gathered in large numbers, constantly applauded each other enthusiastically.
Our Principal, Mrs Rashmi Raj Biswal rewarded the winners with medals and congratulated them for their victory.
The event continuously laid the emphasis of sports in a child’s life and physical and mental development. It was a day filled with sportsmanship, enthusiasm and memories to cherish.
