Parke Godwin, a famous journalist and writer once said, “The greatest of all human benefits, without which no other benefit can be truly enjoyed, is independence.” Independence or freedom should not be something you have to deserve. It’s something you just naturally have. And this year this freedom becomes all the more important where everyone is yearning to be free from masks, free to roam freely, free to go to school, meet friends, relatives, play and do whatever one feels like.
This year too, DAV Pushpanjali Cambridge International did not deter from celebrating it with full enthusiasm and fervor even though it was virtual (G Meet), first of its kind in the school's history. It was special for one more reason as this year parents joined the celebration not only as audience but as participants too. Dr. Madhu, mother of Muskaan (class 8) and Ms. Shalini, mother of Chaitanya (class 8) were the gracious hosts of the evening along with the students.
The program started in the evening with a video clipping featuring our principal mam, Mrs. Rashmi Raj Biswal hoisting the National Flag in school. It was followed by National Anthem and various energetic performances by the students of class 3-8.
The viewers were enthralled by the live streaming of various dance acts, poem recitations and speeches on Cambridge International You Tube channel, cambint davpushpanjali-

The evening ended with closing address by Ms. Shalini Gupta and Jai Hind salute to the flag by all the students and teachers present in the meeting on G Meet.
A big thank you to Principal mam and Jyotsna Mam for providing the opportunity, guidance and support, and dear students and parents for their positive involvement, untiring efforts and for making this program a grand success.
