17.8.22 Janmashtami Celebration

A special assembly was conducted to celebrate Janmashtami and Independence Day. All students from class PS to VIII participated in it. There were bhajans, dance, music and poem renditions. The program ended with aarti sung by class 3 students and prasad distribution.

All students enjoyed the celebration and remembered the teachings of Lord Krishna.

Class 3 Rakshabandhan Celebration

 Students of Class 3 Cambridge celebrated Rakshabandhan by tying sacred thread to trees and plants. They vowed to always protect trees, not cut them and to grow more trees as they are our green friends and very useful for us.

Class 4 Activity- Information Text- Visit to School Library

 Students of Class 4 visited school library where they collected information on how the school library functions. Library ma'am explained to the students that books in our library are arranged according to Dewy Decimal System. This system is followed all over the world. 

She also explained how in this system books are given numbers according to subjects and genre. This activity helped students in learning how to write information texts.
