English Week Activities (30.10.21) Class 3, 4 & 5
Class 3- Dress Up Sentence
Students in groups were given 5 simple boring sentences. They discussed and made the sentences more interesting by adding descriptive words to them.
Students recited poems individually, highlighting figurative language used in it. They also gave a brief introduction of the poet.

Class 5- Eloquent Elocution
Each student spoke for 2 minutes on the topic,' Responsible Consumption and Production.'

Class 3- Character Carnival
Class 4- What Happened Next?
The children dressed up as their favourite character from a story of any genre and assayed to others what makes the character their favourite.
(Skill- Speaking and Listening)
The class was divided into groups. Each group was given a story without an ending. Students in groups discussed and predicted different endings for the given stories. Eg. comic, horror, adventure and realistic.
Class 5- Collocation Pelmanism
A table was provided to the students in which two parts of phrasal verbs collocations were written in separate columns. Students read and tried to match the correct parts.Ex. Flick through- a newspaper, walk out of - a meeting, get over- a disappointment.
