Class 5 Activity- Digital Presentation About Black Holes

In this activity, students were divided into groups of 5. Each group researched about Black Holes to create a digital presentation and give a talk to the class about Black Holes.

This activity helped the students in getting greater knowledge acquisition, retention of material, and higher-order problem solving and reasoning abilities.

They also learnt how to use connectives in presenting their sequence of ideas.

Class 3 Activity- Instruction Text (How to Make Fruit Chaat)

An activity was conducted in class 3 in which the students learnt about Instruction Text. An instruction text is a text that explains to someone how to do something, such as bake a cake, play a game or work a camera.

The students made fruit chaat and wrote Ingredients and Steps to make fruit chaat using time connectives.

This activity allowed students to develop sophisticated comprehension skills, build critical content knowledge and vocabulary, and apply higher-order thinking skills. Learning to read diagrams, tables, and other graphical devices that are often part of informational text also helped develop their visual literacy.

Diwali Celebrations- 2020

Diwali, the spirited Festival of Lights was celebrated virtually but with enthusiasm, energy and a fair amount of consciousness by the IV A students. Children heard the timeless story of Diwali, engaged in making finger-licking No Fire desserts like Oreo Shake, Oreo Cake, Diwali Delight, Fruit Cream, Fruit Chaat and many more. Students also decorated their beautiful Thalis for Diwali Puja and Bhai Dooj.

Many students also gave scintillating performances in the form of dance, piano recital and poem rendition.

The students thoroughly enjoyed the celebrations and made heartfelt promises to keep safe and celebrate a Green Diwali this year.

Wishing everyone a joyous and prosperous Diwali.
