Class 4 Day 3- English Week Activity (Elocution- English is a language of wit and humor)

 In this activity, students of class 4 individually presented their views on the topic- English is a language of wit and humor. Students were judged by Ms. Prerna Venkatesh m/o Adhokshaja (Class 5) on the basis of Content, Clarity and Presentation.

Class 4- Day 2 English Week Activity (A Walk In His/ Her Shoes)

In this activity, the class was divided into groups. Each group was given a picture of a pair of shoes; for example, a photo of red high heels or running shoes. Then, the group imagined the person who owned that pair of shoes. They described the person in detail. They used adjectives to describe the person’s physical appearance and verbs in their proper tense to describe what the person did for work and in leisure time.

Class 4- Day 1(24th of August) Class Discussion and Presentation based on Six Thinking Hats Technique

 Day 1(24th of August) Class Discussion and Presentation based on Six Thinking Hats - The English Week in Class 4 started in the evening with the students wearing cute hats in four different  colors: red, green, white and black. Each color representing different aspect or way of thinking about the same Blue hat topic- If there is only one TV station.

 Students were divided into groups. Each group was given a question based on different thinking hats. Each group discussed and came up with the possible answer, common to all members of the group. Ms. Anjana Khaana, Ms. Vippi Bhalla, Ms. Garima Bhardwaj and Mr. Deepak Aneja,  (Parents of Jivish, Praney, Dhani and Arnav Aneja respectively) joined the activity as Parent Observers.

Class 3 English Week (20 August - 22 August, 2020)

 

Day 1(20th of August) Six Thinking Hats - The English Week in Class 3 started in the evening with the students wearing cute hats in five different  colors: red, green, white, black and yellow. Each color representing different aspect or way of thinking about the same Blue hat topic- Students talking while others are talking or teacher is teaching.  

 Students were divided into groups. Each group was given a question based on different thinking hats. Each group discussed and came up with the possible answer, common to all members of the group. Ms. Pinky Gupta, Ms. Suman Gupta, Ms. Aarti Sharma, Ms. Heetal Bisht and Ms. Preeti Batra (Mothers of Advik, Manya, Tashvi, Devansh and Ronit respectively) joined the activity as Parent Observer.











Day 2 (21st of August) This is How My Story Ends-  In this activity, students were shown a story, " Circus Escape" It was stopped in the middle and students in groups were asked to guess and write their own ending. Students enjoyed the activity which helped them to be creative and imaginative and came up with different endings like  happy, fear, suspense and horror. In this activity also,Ms. Pinky Gupta, Ms. Suman Gupta, Ms. Aarti Sharma, Ms. Heetal Bisht and Ms. Preeti Batra (Mothers of Advik, Manya, Tashvi, Devansh and Ronit respectively) joined as Parent Observer. 




















 

Day 3 (22nd of August) Fumble Jumble- In this fun activity, Alliterations were taught to the children with the help of Tongue Twisters. Children enjoyed it thoroughly and they were judged by Ms. Vani Jain, mother of AvniJain (Class 4) on the basis of Content, Clarity and Presentation.
