SOPAAN - Exhibition (2017)

It was held on July 21, 2017 at DAV Public School, Pushpanjali Enclave. The theme of the exhibition was to give the students an opportunity to research and give a futuristic interpretation to various topics given to them, be it physical features of India, states of India, Early Man and so on.

Students of PRIMUS displayed numerous interdisciplinary and interactive activities and models.

The students got an opportunity to research and seek solutions to common problems outside the formal learning environment.

The persuasive efforts of students, teachers and enthusiastic support of parents helped PRIMUS in putting up an attractive and informative display of various models related to different topics.

Once again a big Thank You to all the parents for their whole hearted support in making the event a huge success.

Social Studies Activity (class 3) The World Cuisine

Food and Music are two things which bind all the people of the world in a common bond, whether of any caste, creed, religion or status. 

To prove this point, students of class 3 (PRIMUS) searched various dishes in different cuisines of the world, for example Chinese, Mexican, Italian, Bangladeshi and Japanese.

The students were divided into five teams of four members each. They all collected the relevant information and pictures related to the cuisine given to them and presented it in the form of presentation in the class.

Through this activity, children learnt that there are so many international dishes that are popular not only in India but also all over the world and how food habits of people are changing now a days.

INTER HOUSE ENGLISH QUIZ COMPETITION (Class 4)

The students of class 4 (PRIMUS) participated in Inter House English Quiz Competition. There were six rounds in the Quiz namely Visual, Dumb Charades, Tenses Don't Make Us Tense, Fastest Finger First, Buzzer Round and Rapid Fire.

All the children participated enthusiastically and had fun answering various questions that were put up to them.
The result is as follows :- 

1st - Bhabha House
2nd- Newton House
3rd- Aristotle House

WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL

“Dear students, the summer has ended.
The school year at last has begun.
But this year is totally different.
I promise we’ll only have fun.
“We won’t study any mathematics,
and recess will last all day long.
Instead of the pledge of allegiance,
we’ll belt out a rock-and-roll song.
“We’ll only play games in the classroom.
You’re welcome to bring in your toys.
It’s okay to run in the hallways.
It’s great if you make lots of noise.
“For homework, you’ll play your Nintendo.
You’ll have to watch lots of T.V.
For field trips we’ll go to the movies
and get lots of candy for free.
“The lunchroom will only serve chocolate
and triple fudge sundaes supreme.”
Yes, that’s what I heard from my teacher
before I woke up from my dream.

School

School bells are ringing, loud and clear;

Vacation's over, school is here.

We hunt our pencils and our books,

And say goodbye to fields and brooks,

To carefree days of sunny hours,

To birds and butterflies and flowers.

But we are glad school has begun.

For work is always mixed with fun.

When autumn comes and the weather is cool,

Nothing can take the place of school.
