Speech Competition: Preserving Glaciers is Crucial for Our Ecosystem

Class 5 students showcased their public speaking skills in a competition focused on environmental conservation. The event took place on 7th May, 2025 and featured students delivering passionate speeches on the importance of preserving glaciers.

- Students researched and prepared thought-provoking speeches highlighting the role of glaciers in maintaining ecological balance.
- The competition aimed to raise awareness about climate change and its impact on glaciers.
- Our alumnus, Avni, sister of Aayansh Attri, graced the event as the judge, offering valuable feedback and insights.
The competition encouraged students to think critically about environmental issues and develop effective communication skills. Participants demonstrated their ability to articulate complex ideas and inspire action.

06.05.2025 Activity of Month- Class 3- Poem Rendition

 The English Activity of the month was a huge success, with Class 3 students showcasing their poetic skills through recitation on the topic "Voices For Peace." The event was judged by Ms. Arzoo Gupta, who brought her expertise and enthusiasm to the evaluation process.

The students prepared and recited poems that highlighted the importance of peace, harmony, and unity. The poems conveyed powerful messages and showcased the students' creativity and language skills.

The students were judged on the following rubrics:


1. Voice and Clarity (10 points)

    - Loud and clear voice

    - Proper pronunciation and enunciation

2. Understanding of the Poem (20 points)

    - Comprehension of the poem's meaning

    - Ability to convey the message

3. Confidence and Stage Presence (20 points)

    - Confidence while reciting

    - Eye contact and engagement with audience

Ms. Arzoo Gupta provided valuable feedback to the students, highlighting their strengths and areas for improvement. She praised the students for their creativity, enthusiasm, and ability to convey the importance of peace.

The students performed exceptionally well, showcasing their poetic skills and creativity. Some notable performances included:

- Khiansh, who delivered a powerful recitation with clear voice and expression.

- Mahika and Inaya, who effectively conveyed the message of peace and harmony.

The "Voices For Peace" poem recitation activity was a resounding success, providing students with an opportunity to develop their language skills, creativity, and confidence. The event demonstrated the students' ability to express themselves effectively and convey meaningful messages.
