 Footsteps for Good - Sports Meet Report

The Footsteps for Good Sports Meet held on 24.05.25 was a resounding success, showcasing the athleticism and teamwork of Class 4 students. The event featured a range of exciting activities that promoted physical fitness, sportsmanship, and camaraderie.

Events

1. *Standing Hoop Hula Race*: Students showcased their coordination and rhythm skills.

2. *Dodge Ball*: A classic team-based game that tested agility and strategy.

3. *Flat 80-meter Race*: A thrilling sprint that highlighted speed and endurance.

4. *Marker and Cone Race*: A fun obstacle course that required focus and quick thinking.

5. *Three-leg Race*: A team-building exercise that promoted communication and trust.

6. *Skipping Rope Race*: A challenging event that demanded agility and coordination.

The winners were awarded gold, silver, and bronze medals in each event, recognizing their outstanding performance and sportsmanship.

Speech Competition: Preserving Glaciers is Crucial for Our Ecosystem

Class 5 students showcased their public speaking skills in a competition focused on environmental conservation. The event took place on 7th May, 2025 and featured students delivering passionate speeches on the importance of preserving glaciers.

- Students researched and prepared thought-provoking speeches highlighting the role of glaciers in maintaining ecological balance.
- The competition aimed to raise awareness about climate change and its impact on glaciers.
- Our alumnus, Avni, sister of Aayansh Attri, graced the event as the judge, offering valuable feedback and insights.
The competition encouraged students to think critically about environmental issues and develop effective communication skills. Participants demonstrated their ability to articulate complex ideas and inspire action.
