Report of session on Story session workshop - Class III

A story session on how to lead life with wisdom and importance of being humble and patient in life, was conducted in Class III by Ms. Ishika Jindal,   the parent of a student of class IV of the school on 17.05.2023, Wednesday.

She narrated a story in Hindi, Titled- वृक्ष की खोज और मौसम का बदलाव ।

The story was based on how a life should be lead. Students also learnt:

1. Never judge people too soon.

2. Life is all about good and bad times. Like weather, life keeps on changing. We should embrace the changes.

3. We should not consider ourselves to be the most knowledgeable person. We should always be ready to learn.

The students were enthusiastic to listen to the story, which was presented  with the help of visual aids, followed by an interactive session. In the end students were asked to comprehend the story and narrate the implicit meaning of the same. The parent also rewarded the students with sweets for the correct answer.

The resource person was felicitated with a folder and thank you note.

Overall it was a fruitful and interactive session which was thoroughly enjoyed by the students.

15.5.23 Curriculum Activity- Class 4 Poem Rendition

Children learn to pick up patterns and sequences in poetry recitations. As they practice memorizing the poetry to recite, it links memory with audio and visual events, helping them develop memorization skills.

To enhance memorization and speaking skill, Poem Recitation activity was conducted in Class 4 Cambridge. Students recited the poem,' Falling Asleep In Class' from their Learner's Book.
