Class 4 Activity- What's in a name

 Class 4 students participated in speaking activity," What's in a name" In this activity, the students researched and collected information about their name. They spoke about meaning of their name, language from which it was taken, who gave them this name and whether they liked it or not.

This activity helped them to develop their research skills and to appreciate uniqueness of their name and be proud of it. It also helped them in understanding Proper Nouns.

World Heritage Day (18th April, 2021)

 

Class 3 and 4 Activities (Beep Words and My Face My Canvas)

 Class 3- Students were shown a ppt in which they had to identify non standard english words in the given sentences and tell the reason for choosing that particular word.

Students enjoyed the game and learned features of Standard English in a fun way.



Class 4- Students drew faces on paper plates showing different emotions, representing abstract nouns.

They enjoyed the activity which helped them to learn abstract nouns and it also helped them to improve their creativity.












16.4.21 Class 5 Activity -My View Point (Debate)

 The students of class 5 participated in class activity- My view Point (Debate) in which they spoke for and against on varied topics like Should Uniforms be banned in school, Should junk food/ video games be banned or Community service is better than jail term.

Students learnt the art of speaking, developed confidence in public speaking and developed the ability to analyse a given topic critically.
