Class 3 Social Science Activity- Know Your Helpers.

Students of class 3 performed an activity- " Know your Helpers ". 

The activity was a part of the curriculum- Transport & Communication. The objective behind the activity was to help children understand the work done by people at the airport like- Baggage Handlers, Security, Ground Staff etc. Student's enjoyed the activity by having hands on experience.

This activity was a trans activity involving performing arts with conceptual understanding from the subject.

              “laughter is the best medicine” 

By keeping and using our sense of humor and bursting out in laughter, we can keep ourselves from bursting from stress. We can keep our own sense of humor by nurturing the student's sense of humor and recognizing the joys in their every accomplishment, no matter how small.

To inject humor into the daily routine of the children in classroom, an inter house Hindi Recitation Competition was organised on 25th Jan.2017. The topic being Fun & Humor. The children participated enthusiastically and regaled the audience with their witty and humorous poems.

Basant Panchami

"When winter comes, can spring be far behind?" asked Shakespeare. Basant Panchami marks the beginning of spring and falls on the fifth day of Maagh each year. The word 'Basant' means spring and 'Panchmi' denotes the fifth day on which the festival falls.

 In the Punjab region, it is celebrated as the festival of kites on the fifth day of spring. On this day, Goddess Saraswati is worshiped. It is also known as Shree Panchami. Wearing yellow clothes and cooking bright coloured foods like Meethe Chawal and Boondi Ladoo are the highlights of the festival.
