29.08.25 National Sports Day Celebration

 DAVPS Cambridge wing celebrated National Sports Day with great enthusiasm, honoring the birth anniversary of hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand. Students participated in various sports events, including:

- *Kho-Kho*: A traditional Indian game that promotes physical fitness, agility, and teamwork.

- *Dodge Ball*: A fun and energetic game that encourages quick reflexes and strategic thinking.

- *Basketball*: A fast-paced team sport that develops coordination, speed, and sportsmanship.

- *Volleyball*: A popular team sport that fosters camaraderie, hand-eye coordination, and physical fitness.

The event aimed to promote sportsmanship, fitness, and healthy living among students, while also recognizing the importance of teamwork and discipline in sports. By participating in these games, students developed their physical and mental abilities, while also learning valuable life skills.

18.8.25 Independence Day and Janamashtami Celebration

 Celebration Report: Independence Day and Janmashtami (August 18, 2025)

The Cambridge wing, comprising students from Pre-Primary to Class 9, came together to celebrate the spirit of freedom and devotion on August 18, 2025. The event was a vibrant blend of Independence Day and Janmashtami festivities.

The celebration began with soulful bhajans and patriotic songs that filled the air with enthusiasm and pride. Students showcased their energetic dance performances, highlighting the country's rich cultural heritage.

The highlight of the event was the stunning tableaus presented by the students. These tableaus depicted significant milestones in India's history, including its first Independence Day, the Dandi March, and notable achievements in space and science, as well as the Green and White Revolutions.

The Janmashtami celebrations concluded with Krishna's Aarti, followed by the distribution of prasad to all students. The event was highly appreciated by Principal Ma'am and other teachers for its creativity and enthusiasm.

Overall, the celebration was a resounding success, fostering a sense of unity, patriotism, and devotion among the students.

27.07.2025 Club Expo- Travel loggers Club

 The Club Expo 2025 was organized by students from classes 4, 5, and 6, who were part of the *Travel Loggers Club*. The theme for this expo was *"Safety and Preparedness while Travelling"*.

*Group Showcase*

There were six groups that participated in the expo, each focusing on a different aspect of travel safety and preparedness:

*Group 1: First Aid Techniques* - Students demonstrated how to treat insect bites and snake bites, and how to  make stretchers while trekking.

 *Group 2: Navigation Skills* - Students showed how to use GPS and how to make own compass.

 *Group 3: Scam Alert* - Students shared tips on staying safe from scams while traveling.

 *Group 4: Packing Smartly* - Students shared techniques on packing essential items efficiently for a trip.

*Group 5: Essential Kit* - Students highlighted must-have items to carry while traveling, including the Emergency Kit.

*Group 6: Travel Budgeting* - Students explained how to plan for a trip, including budgeting and deciding how to spend money.

The expo received great feedback from everyone, who found the *interactive and informative displays* on various travel aspects really valuable.
